My Original Solar Company Went Belly Up
We had our solar installed by Green Day. We were thrilled with the results until just recently when something went wrong, and it kept popping off line. I called Green Day but found out they were out of business. I got in touch with many companies, but no one wanted to help. But then I found Shelley. She emailed me back and then walked me through what to do with my Solar Edge. We tried several things, which worked for a bit. She monitored my solar and what it was doing, talking with Solar Edge multiple times and for many hours. We finally have a solution! The part arrived and will be replaced shortly. Shelley has been on it from start to finish, and I can not thank her enough! She is an angel!
Careful and Thourough Support
Shelley and the rest of the NRG Clean Power team were very thourough and precise in assessing my entire photovoltaic installation system. They put my mind at ease by informing me that the only thing I needed to do was to replace my 12-year old inverter. after installing a new one, my sytem was back to producing at expected levels.

Installation of Solar and Tesla Batteries
Nicole at NRG Clean Power exceeded all expectations throughout our commercial solar installation project. From initial consultation to final system activation, she demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise.
What stood out most was Nicole’s proactive communication style. She provided detailed updates at every stage – from permit applications to installation scheduling, panel mounting, and battery integration. I never had to wonder about project status or next steps. When an unexpected challenge arose with configuring out new tesla batteries to the solar system, Nicole immediately presented solutions and adjusted timelines transparently. Highly recommend!!

Good communicators make all the difference
We signed our contract with NRG in June 2022 after their quote far surpassed their competitors in overall value for money and quality of solutions offered. Frustratingly, however, the installation then took more than 16 months to even begin (October 2023). After this initially very delayed start, some project details I discussed with the original sales person falling through the cracks in the hand-off to project management, and the wrong type of electrical panel being ordered and delivered (further delaying the project), I was NOT happy. NRG Installation Coordinator, Edward Rodriguez, then picked up our project management mid-way, and did an excellent job of communicating and wrapping everything up to my full satisfaction. The October 2023 installers Francisco Plascencia Gonzales and Fernando Gutiérrez returned in February 2024 to address my concerns about conduit and box placements on the exterior of the house. They were excellent communicators and very efficient and thorough. Daniel Duncan in accounting followed up with me directly by phone to work through a billing discrepancy for an EV charger that ended up not being installed. If I were the president of NRG, I would reward these four individuals with generous bonuses for turning around what might have been a “zero” stars experience to a “five star” experience. Not an easy accomplishment! Conscientious communicators make all the difference!

Wow, NRG got me a rebate 1 year after install, I had no Idea they were working on this! Very exciting!
My panels and battery backup were installed in Jan. of 2023. Approx. 1 year later, NRG worked on got me a rebate from SoCal Gas. I had no idea they were keeping track of future available rebates, especially from the gas company. Thank you NRG/Bill Russell for making this happen! Much appreciated!
It's done!
We are finally done with the installation. Everything works well. The solar cells get our home electricity in the daylight and keep the battery charged for night. All wonderful.
