Job Description

Accounts Receivable Associate

We are looking for a knowledgeable Accounts Receivable Associate who can ensure the company receives payments for goods and services and records these transactions accordingly. As our accounts receivable associate, you will secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts and resolving any discrepancies.

To succeed as our Accounts Receivable Associate you should be analytical, detail-oriented, and honest. The ideal person should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong understanding of accounting and a keen eye for detail.

Accounts Receivable Associate Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the billing system
  • Generating invoices and account statements
  • Performing account reconciliations
  • Maintain accounts receivable files and records
  • Producing monthly financial and management reports
  • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries
  • Assisting in general financial management and analysis
  • Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
  • Assisting other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.

Accounts Receivable Associate Requirements:

This is an in-office position

  • 1-5 years of experience in accounting is required
  • Familiarity with industry-standard accounting software (QuickBooks etc.)
  • An ability to prioritize and manage expectations
  • An ability to work independently
  • Working knowledge of database (Google Sheets/Excel)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle potential tense interactions with clients

Job Description

Field Solar Technician

NRG Clean Power is looking for an experienced individual in solar or construction to join our growing business. We are a locally owned business with 30+years in the Solar industry serving all of California. Experience in solar is a must! This is a fast-paced environment and we need someone who can hit the ground running.

Summary

Under the general direction of the Production Manager, the Solar Customer, and Technical Support Specialist performs a wide variety of troubleshooting and customer service duties. The ideal candidate will be motivated, dedicated, and a team player. In addition, the ideal candidate will have high attention to detail and genuine care for his/her work craft. Most importantly the ideal candidate will be able to effectively troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical solar issues after training. This is an in-office position for Canoga Park, you must be able to come to the office daily.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose PV system issues, including non-operation and underperformance, then develop and administer a remediation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve solar electric warranty and service issues that arise with: modules, inverters, and all system components to ensure maximum system performance
  • Keep all appointments as scheduled, confirm attendance, and seek to optimize field time efficiently
  • Advanced troubleshooting of system issues as identified and scheduled by the corporate Field Support team
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism and interact directly with NRG Clean Power customers
  • Record and submit daily paperwork associated with serviced systems
  • Actively report and communicate with Field Service Regional Management
  • Comply with key performance indicators (KPI) set by Regional Field Service Manager
  • Attend webinars/calls and correlation meeting(s) as set by Regional Field Service Manager
  • Maintain and communicate supply and equipment issues to properly address all service call needs
  • Maintain regular communication with Electrical Field Service Technicians and Field Support Call Center
  • Ensure a high degree of workmanship as service and warranty work are completed
  • Follow all safety policies while driving a company vehicle and at all job sites
  • Comply with necessary safety standards to assure a safe workplace/condition
  • Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership

Necessary Skills and Experience:

  • 1+ years of electrical experience
  • 1+ years of solar-specific installation and/or service experience preferred
  • 1+ years of network systems experience
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing existing systems and electrical components
  • High level of craftsmanship/workmanship with strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of how various electrical components can be repaired in the most cost-effective manner possible
  • Working knowledge of the usage of SolarEdge
  • Competent with adapting to different computer programs
  • Understanding of network functions, IP address knowledge, internet connection and troubleshooting of low voltage circuits
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and adapting to change easily
  • Ability to keep a positive attitude and encourage others
  • Strong interpersonal/human relations and customer service skills
  • Must be comfortable working on rooftops with the proper fall protection
  • Physically able to lift 50lbs and perform duties such as climbing, lifting and working outside
  • Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing residential solar panels preferred

Sales Representative

NRG Clean Power is looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about renewable energy to join its sales team. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound leads:

  • Responsible for outbound calls to our database
  • Qualify and rate prospects via phone, live chat and email – with the ultimate goal of passing qualified leads to the sales team in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Stellar ability to multi-task with email management, phone and live chat communication with prospects.
  • Accurately record information and details of correspondence in our CRM system.
  • All contact must be made in a polite, effective, and efficient manner, working within the guidelines provided at all times.
  • Understand solar products and financing solutions, and how they serve our customers’ needs- including features, benefits, and key examples of usage.
  • Work with management to improve the lead qualifying processes.

Summary:

The Solar Project Manager is not only responsible for managing a team, in Los Angeles and Vegas but also responsible for managing the residential solar projects from sales to activation, overseeing all projects (so organization is key to success). Along with creating a best in class customer experience, the Project Manager will effectively and efficiently be responsible for timely communication and completion. This is an in-office position (not remote), we do require you to come in daily to our Canoga Park location.

NRG Clean Power is looking for a high-energy and dynamic Sales Development Representative to provide pre-sales support. This role will be responsible for servicing inbound sales and related inquiries with a focus on engaging and qualifying all prospective customers. This role is one of the first touchpoints for prospects and has the opportunity to set the tone for the sales cycle following.


Role Responsibilities

  • Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries
  • Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence
  • Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone and email
  • Act as the subject matter expert on solar products offerings/solution development skills
  • Responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales teams

  • Responsible for ensuring profitable operations of solar sales and installation company.
  • Manages various aspects of the operation including: Responsible for selecting vendors, negotiating terms and arranging for delivery of solar equipment (solar panels/inverters/racking
    systems/monitors/batteries);
  • Ensure the installation is to specifications and are appropriate to the location and structure;
  • Review customer contracts;
  • Assign projects to staff including project engineers, installers, energy advisers;
  • Monitor performance of staff;
  • Deal with issues of connecting solar systems to the grid (permitting/storage);
  • As required resolve issues that pertain to vendors and customers;
  • Handle purchasing and logistics.
  • Manage the supply chain.

Requires a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and 3 years of experience.
